EDUCATION ABROAD SCHOLARSHIPS FROM INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS!
The International Relations program is accepting applications for its Study Abroad Scholarships. Scholarships are $500 and are multiple scholarships will be awarded. More information and the scholarship application can be found by clicking here.
EAP APPLICATION WORKSHOPS FOR IR MAJORS
If you are an IR major, or intend to major in IR, and are applying to study abroad next year, you must attend a workshop with Jacki Amos or Katy Pattison to learn the criteria for selecting courses that will be accepted for the IR major.
All workshops are in room 1279 SSH, the IR conference room. Workshops begin at 4:10pm and run about a half hour, with time for questions afterward. Please do not come late as the idea is to go through the information as few times as possible.

RESTRUCTURED TRACK IV (PEOPLES AND NATIONALITIES)
Study Abroad Requirement Added.
A study abroad requirement has been added for this track. Students
choosing Track IV will now be required to study or do an internship
abroad for a minimum of one quarter.
Course Requirements Reduced from 12 to Nine.
In recognition of the experience students will gain while
studying/working abroad, the number of upper division courses required
for Track IV has been reduced from 12 to nine. Five courses must come
from the track itself, and four courses must come from Area Studies.
Courses Reorganized. Courses in the track have been reorganized into new categories, including Political Organization of Social Cleavages; Mixing of Peoples; Women; Religion; and Development and its Impact on Social Cleavages.
